Menopause Basics

Feeling frustrated with changes you’re seeing in your body as you get older? Worried about possible side effects of peri/menopause? Unsure what treatment/help is available? That’s where Menopause Basics comes in.

This 4-week program is designed to help you build strength, confidence, and sustainable habits in a supportive environment. You’ll learn how to move safely, support your body through peri/menopause, and feel empowered every time you step into the gym. No guesswork, and no judgment - just guidance that meets you where you are.


Small Group Training

Once per week you’ll meet with our Menopause Specialist, Coach Becky to be coached through a full body workout and go over topics related to menopause. You’ll get personalized attention and tweaks to your plan as needed.


Strength workouts

Over the four weeks you’ll learn how to choose proper weights for strength building and have an opportunity to practice what you learn in your small group personal training sessions with Becky in our Small Group Strength classes. This will help you build the confidence to be in any gym on your own, or to join our classes after your series wraps up.


Gym Confidence

We are proud of our gym community, and often get feedback about how good it feels to workout in an environment that is women-mostly, fun, colorful, and intentionally pared down. At the end of Menopause Basics, you will know how to use and choose dumbbells, craft a solid workout, and understand written workout programming. We would love to have you join our gym as a member (and will walk you through the membership options available), but you will also be able to join any gym, or workout at home, with more confidence and knowledge to make strength training a sustainable part of your life!


Next Cohort of Menopause Basics is in the Fall!

Registration is $195 and includes:

  • 4 weeks of in-person small-group coach-led training with Coach Becky (4 total sessions) - choose from Mondays at lunch or Wednesdays after work.

  • 4 class passes to SweatClub Small Group Strength classes (expires 4 weeks from SCB start date)

  • Education on a wide range of fitness and menopause topics, specific to strength-training and sustainable habit forming. No diet culture, weight loss focus, before/after or maximal effort programming here!

  • Inclusion in our joyful, creative, silly community of folks at all levels of fitness — who love to chat about books, Taylor Swift, Tulsa happenings, celebrity gossip, crafting, tarot and more!
