Menopause Basics

Feeling frustrated with changes you’re seeing in your body as you get older? Worried about possible side effects of peri/menopause? Unsure what treatment/help is available? That’s where Menopause Basics comes in.

This 4-week program is designed to help you build strength, confidence, and sustainable habits in a supportive environment. You’ll learn how to move safely, support your body through peri/menopause, and feel empowered every time you step into the gym. No guesswork, and no judgment - just guidance that meets you where you are.


Small Group Training

This month we are doing a virtual round of Menopause Basics to help accommodate your schedule! You can choose to have the workouts made by us, use your SweatClub workouts or follow a program you’re already working on. If you’ve got a great strength routine already, you can join us for the four weekly zoom calls led by Menopause Specialist Becky Croft.


Strength workouts

If you choose, 4 weeks of strength-training workouts are provided with your registration in Menopause Basics! You’ll have access to the programming through a spreadsheet that gives you the ability to view videos of each move, and keep track of your weights used over the course of the program.

After the four weeks of the course, you can continue on with Coach Becky in a 1:1 setting, graduate to working on your own at a gym of your choice, or ease into our Small Group Strength classes at SweatClub. We are here to help you find the right fit for your future!


Gym Confidence

We are proud of our gym community, and often get feedback about how good it feels to workout in an environment that is women-mostly, fun, colorful, and intentionally pared down. At the end of Menopause Basics, you will know how to use and choose dumbbells, craft a solid workout, and understand written workout programming. We would love to have you join our gym as a member (and will walk you through the membership options available), but you will also be able to join any gym, or workout at home, with more confidence and knowledge to make strength training a sustainable part of your life!


Next Cohort of Menopause Basics is Going Virtual!

There are 3 options for Virtual Class:

  • 4 weeks of workouts + weekly zoom meeting with Menopause Coach and expert Becky Croft

  • 4 weeks of workouts + weekly zoom meeting + open gym access to SweatClub

  • Weekly Zoom Meeting access on its own (choose this if you’re already a Sweatie and/or have a strength routine in place)

    Upcoming Class Dates:

  • April 7 - May 4: Once everyone is registered, Becky will help choose a zoom time that works for the group.

  • You will get 2 workouts per week to do on your own, or be encouraged to continue your current routine.
